Systeme.io Pricing (2026): Is the Free Plan Enough? A Guide for Creators Outside the US
This post contains affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Quick verdict
Best for most new creators: the Systeme.io Free plan. It costs $0, needs no credit card, and doesn't expire. You get 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 course, and unlimited emailing.
Best first upgrade: Startup at $17/mo. Move up when you pass 2,000 contacts, need more than 3 funnels, or want to sell more than one course.
Webinar ($47/mo) and Unlimited ($97/mo) only make sense once your list or course catalog has clearly outgrown Startup.
If you live outside the US, Systeme.io is worth a close look. Every plan charges 0% transaction fees and connects to regional payment processors, not just Stripe and PayPal.
How we researched this
We built this guide from Systeme.io's public pricing and features pages, checked on September 30, 2026. We don't use star ratings or scores.
We do have a Systeme.io account, which we opened in September 2026 to join its affiliate program. We haven't run a live funnel or course on it yet. So this is a pricing guide based on official information, not a long-term performance review.
Two small things we saw in our own account are relevant to non-US readers. Our dashboard displays in Japanese, which matches our account's language setting. The screen for managing affiliates who sell your own products (under Sales) also showed amounts in euros (€) by default, with a separate currency selector. That is the screen for your own product's affiliate program, not the one where you earn commission by referring Systeme.io. We cover what that means later in this guide.
Prices and limits change often. Confirm them on the official pricing page before you pay.

A note on annual billing: when we checked, the pricing page showed only monthly prices and no annual totals, so we haven't listed any. If annual billing is offered at checkout, confirm the exact total before you commit to a year.
The Free plan
The Free plan is Systeme.io's main selling point. It isn't a trial. You don't enter a card, and it doesn't end after 14 or 30 days.
What you get: 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels, 1 course with unlimited students, 1 custom domain, unlimited emailing, and unlimited file storage. The affiliate program feature is included on every plan, so you can recruit affiliates to sell your own product even on Free. You also get 0% transaction fees and 24/7 email support.
Pros
- Truly free. No card required, and the plan doesn't expire.
- Unlimited emails. Many email tools cap monthly sends on free plans. Systeme.io's pricing page lists unlimited emailing on every plan.
- Room to validate an offer. Three funnels and one course is enough to test a lead magnet, a sales page, and a first product.
- Own domain. One custom domain looks more professional than a subdomain.
Cons
- 2,000 contacts goes fast. If you run a freebie or giveaway, you can hit the cap in a few months.
- One course only. If you plan a mini-course plus a flagship course, you'll need Startup.
- Support is email only. The pricing page lists 24/7 email support, not live chat or phone.
Pricing gotchas
- Count all contacts, not just paying customers. Anyone who signs up for a freebie uses up one of your 2,000 slots.
- Before you build, check which extras are on Free. The pricing page lists a blog on Free, but we couldn't find limits for automation rules or communities on the pricing page, so confirm those in the help center first.
The Startup plan ($17/mo)
Startup is the plan most solo creators end up on. It removes the funnel cap and gives you 2.5 times the contacts of Free.
What changes from Free: 5,000 contacts (up from 2,000), unlimited funnels (up from 3), 5 courses (up from 1), and unlimited custom domains (up from 1).
Pros
- Low entry price. At $17/mo on monthly billing, it's the cheapest paid plan, and it already includes funnels and courses, not just email.
- Unlimited funnels. You can test new offers without deleting old funnels first.
- Enough courses for a small catalog. Five courses covers a free course, a paid course, and a few upsells.
Cons
- 5,000 contacts is still a ceiling. A creator with steady traffic can outgrow it within a year.
- The jump to the next plan is big. Going from $17/mo to $47/mo nearly triples your bill, and the extra contacts only double (5,000 to 10,000).
- Evergreen webinars aren't listed on Startup. The pricing page lists evergreen webinars as available on the Webinar and Unlimited plans, and doesn't list them for Startup. If webinars matter to you, plan for the next tier.
Pricing gotchas
- We couldn't find refund or money-back terms on the pricing page. Check the terms of service or ask support before you pay, especially for a prepaid year.
- Clean your list before you upgrade. Removing inactive contacts can keep you under 5,000 for longer.
The Webinar plan ($47/mo)
Webinar is for creators whose main bottleneck is the number of courses or contacts, not funnels.
What changes from Startup: 10,000 contacts (up from 5,000) and unlimited courses (up from 5). Funnels, students, emails, and storage stay unlimited, just as on Startup.
Pros
- Unlimited courses. Useful if you sell many small products, workshops, or client-specific trainings.
- Double the contacts. 10,000 contacts gives a growing newsletter more room.
- Still 0% transaction fees. Your cost stays flat as your sales grow.
Cons
- Big price step for a narrow gain. If you only need more contacts, you're paying $30/mo more for 5,000 extra slots.
- The plan is named for one feature. The pricing page lists evergreen webinars on this plan and on Unlimited. If you don't plan to run webinars, you're mostly paying for contacts and courses.
Pricing gotchas
- Work out why you're upgrading. If the answer is "I have six courses," consider merging two small courses first.
- As with every paid plan, the pricing page showed no annual price. Confirm it before you pay.
The Unlimited plan ($97/mo)
Unlimited is the top plan. The main difference is unlimited contacts.
What changes from Webinar: unlimited contacts (up from 10,000). Everything else in the headline table was already unlimited on Webinar.
Pros
- No contact cap. Your bill won't rise as your list grows.
- Predictable cost. A flat $97/mo, with 0% transaction fees, is easy to budget for.
- Still cheaper than some all-in-one rivals' entry plans. For example, Kajabi's cheapest plan was listed at $179/mo on monthly billing when we checked it for our Systeme.io vs Kajabi comparison.
Cons
- You pay for headroom you may not use. If you have 11,000 contacts, you're paying $50/mo more than Webinar for 1,000 extra slots.
- Few other headline upgrades. Based on the main pricing table, contacts are the main reason to choose this plan. Check the full feature list for anything else you need.
Pricing gotchas
- Before you upgrade, check how many of your contacts are active. Pruning a cold list could keep you on Webinar.
Notes for creators outside the US
Most pricing guides assume you live in the US and sell in dollars. If you don't, a few details matter more than the headline price.
Payment processors
Systeme.io's pricing page lists these payment integrations on every plan: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Razorpay, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, and Xendit.
Stripe and PayPal cover many countries, but not all of them. The regional options can help if you live somewhere Stripe doesn't support:
- Razorpay is widely used in India.
- Flutterwave is widely used in parts of Africa.
- Mercado Pago is widely used in Latin America.
- Xendit is widely used in Southeast Asia.
Before you build anything, check that at least one of these processors supports businesses in your country. Each processor publishes its own list of supported countries.
Transaction fees
Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, including Free. Your payment processor still charges its own fees, and cross-border card fees and currency conversion can add more. These are set by the processor, not by Systeme.io.
Currency
When we opened the screen for managing affiliates of our own products (under Sales) in our account, it showed amounts in euros (€0.00) with a currency selector next to the date range. So don't be surprised if some screens default to euros. The pricing page doesn't list supported checkout currencies, so check the help center and your payment processor before you set prices in a local currency.
The plan prices on the pricing page were shown in US dollars when we checked. Your card issuer may add a foreign transaction fee if your card isn't in USD.
Language
Our account's interface displayed in Japanese, including the top menu (Upgrade, Dashboard, CRM, Sites, Email, SMS, Automation, Assets, Sales, Help). If English isn't your first language, you can run the back end in a language you're comfortable with. Your customer-facing pages appear in whatever language you write them in.
Taxes and VAT
We couldn't find VAT or sales-tax details on the pricing page. If you sell digital products to customers in the EU, UK, or other regions with digital sales tax rules, you may be responsible for collecting and filing tax yourself. Ask a local tax professional, and check Systeme.io's help center for any tax settings.
If you want to earn from Systeme.io, too
Systeme.io also runs its own affiliate program, and we use it for the links in this post. According to the official affiliate page (checked September 29, 2026), it pays 60% lifetime recurring commission. Payouts are made via PayPal or wire transfer, on the 10th of each month, with a $30 minimum. Those payout methods work for many creators outside the US. Check the current terms before you promote it, and don't expect any particular income from it.
Which Systeme.io plan should you choose?
Choose Free if:
- You're testing your first offer or lead magnet.
- You have fewer than about 1,500 contacts and don't expect a big jump soon.
- You sell one course or none yet.
Choose Startup ($17/mo) if:
- You've passed, or are about to pass, 2,000 contacts.
- You need more than 3 funnels (for example, one per product plus a webinar funnel).
- You want 2 to 5 courses.
Choose Webinar ($47/mo) if:
- You have 5,000 to 10,000 contacts.
- You sell more than 5 courses.
- You've confirmed the features you need are on this plan and not on Startup.
Choose Unlimited ($97/mo) if:
- Your list is above 10,000 contacts and still growing.
- You'd rather pay one flat price than think about contact caps.
Consider a different tool if:
- You need a dedicated, enterprise-grade email tool with advanced deliverability controls.
- You need advanced course features, such as detailed quizzes or certificates, and have confirmed Systeme.io doesn't offer them.
- You're comparing all-in-one platforms. Our Systeme.io vs Kajabi guide covers a higher-priced alternative.
FAQ
Is Systeme.io really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs $0, needs no credit card, and doesn't expire. It includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, and unlimited emails. You pay only if you upgrade.
How much is Systeme.io per month?
On monthly billing, paid plans are $17/mo (Startup), $47/mo (Webinar), and $97/mo (Unlimited), as listed on September 30, 2026. We didn't see annual prices on the pricing page, so confirm any annual total at checkout.
Does Systeme.io take a cut of my sales?
No. Systeme.io lists 0% transaction fees on every plan. Your payment processor (such as Stripe or PayPal) still charges its own processing fees.
Can I use Systeme.io if I don't live in the US?
Yes, as long as a supported payment processor works in your country. Systeme.io connects to Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Razorpay, Flutterwave, Mercado Pago, and Xendit. The dashboard is also available in languages other than English. We use it in Japanese.
What happens when I go over 2,000 contacts on the Free plan?
You'll need to upgrade to Startup or remove contacts to stay on Free. The pricing page only describes one case: if you cancel a paid plan and your list exceeds the Free limit, the account reverts to Free and contacts above the limit are archived. It doesn't say whether new sign-ups are blocked at the limit, so check the help center.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Systeme.io's pricing page says you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account settings.
