Privacy Policy
The Lean Toolkit (https://theleantoolkit.com) does not require you to create an account. The only personal information we collect is the email address you choose to give us when you subscribe to our newsletter.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to The Lean Toolkit Weekly, we collect your email address and the time you signed up. We use it only to send you the newsletter, which is about once a week. Sign-up uses a confirmation email (double opt-in). Emails are sent through Kit (kit.com), which processes your email address on our behalf under its own privacy policy. Some emails link to articles that contain affiliate links, and we mark them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to info@theleantoolkit.com to be removed. We do not sell your email address.
Hosting and logs
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and secure the site.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies and does not track you across sites or build profiles of individual visitors.
Affiliate links and cookies
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination merchant or affiliate network may set cookies or use similar technology to attribute a purchase to this site. We do not control those cookies, and they are governed by the merchant’s or network’s own privacy policy. We mark affiliate links and explain our relationships on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Cookies and third-party technology
This site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party technology on the site is limited to Cloudflare (hosting and cookie-free analytics) and, on the newsletter page, a sign-up form provided by Kit, which may use cookies or similar technology under Kit’s own policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can avoid the newsletter form’s technology by not visiting that page. Blocking cookies may stop affiliate attribution, which does not change the price you pay.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. The only personal information we hold is a newsletter subscriber’s email address and sign-up details. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. To use these rights, unsubscribe from any email or write to info@theleantoolkit.com.
Retention
We keep newsletter subscriber details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep a record of your consent (such as the sign-up date and source) for as long as we need it to show that you agreed to receive our emails.
Changes
If we add other features that collect personal data, we will update this page first.
